High-level talents are needed in language service industry.However, present professional translation edu-cation cannot cultivate the talents who are competent for the senior positions in language service industry.The paper analy-zes the necessity and feasibility of establishing DTI and primarily discusses some issues of DTI education, such as teaching objectives, enrollment, faculties, curriculum, teaching methods, evaluation methods and dissertation.
