“微波技术与天线”是通信工程及电子信息相关专业的一门基础课程。该课程理论性强,概念抽象,数学公式复杂。传统教学方法难以获得良好的教学效果,且无法做到理论与实践兼顾。本文探讨了如何利用现代多媒体技术及EDA电磁仿真软件提高该课程的教学质量。通过多媒体技术能将抽象的概念形象化,利用EDA仿真软件能够对微波器件及天线等进行三维仿真设计,达到理论与实践相结合的目的。

"Microwave technology and antennas"is a fundamental curriculum in the majors of communication engineering and electronic information engineering. It is difficult to learn for its deep theories, abstract concepts and complex mathematical formulas. Traditional teaching is not very effective and we are unable to integrate theory and practice perfectly. This paper discussed how to improve the teaching quality of the curriculum using modern multi-media technologies and electromagnetic field simulation software of electronic design automation. Abstract concepts can be taught vividly using multi-media technologies in front of students. Using simulation software, three-dimensional simulation and design technology should apply to microwave devices and antennas to achieve the goal of combining theory with practice successfully.
