基于产品基因概念，提出了一种产品基因的划分和提取方法以及相应基因库的建立原则。通过对已有产品实例的分析，提取其中的各项产品特征抽象归纳为功能基因、外观基因和结构基因，建立产品实例基因组模型，并按照各基因对应的原理将基因进行编排建成产品基因库。由于产品基因库中同一原理一般对应多种基因组合，因此能重组产生较多的基因突变组合，能有效地启发设计者，提高产品设计的创新性。

Based on the concept of product gene, a method of classification and acquisition of product gene was proposed. Besides, the principles of establishing the gene pool for the product gene was put forward. Through analyzing the product cases, formulating the characters extracted from product case as product gene and then a model of the product case was established. According to the principles of each product gene, a gene pool was established, it is helpful to the innovation design as the product gene from gene pool can change into various mutations combination which can inspire designers and improve the level of creativity of the design.
