This paper is based on the investigation project of Xi-Shang highway,analyzed the causes for the landslide expansion soil at K11+750~K12+460,combined with the topographic and geological conditions,proposed retaining engineering and drainage engineering comprehensive prevention and control measures,and provide the basis for the work of prevention and control of construction and geological disasters of all high-way in the southern area of Shaanxi province.
