日本于1931年发动了震惊世界的"九一八"事变,受南京政府不抵抗政策影响,东北军从沈阳、锦州陆续撤到关内,东北民众毅然承担起抗击日本侵略者、保家卫国的重任.在白山黑水间,数十支义勇军队伍揭竿而起,其中,东北抗日义勇军第一路军在王显廷的指挥下,与猖狂的侵略者进行殊死的搏斗,战功赫赫.在诸多论述中对王显廷的职务,一直存在不同的说法.东北抗日义勇军第一路军应由当时的辽宁省政府决定成立,最初的司令是冯亚超,副司令为王显廷,后因冯的出逃,王显廷遂成为东北抗日义勇军第一路军司令.

Japan openly launched the world-shaking"September 18th Incident"in 1931.Affected by Nanjing Government's Anti-Counteraction Policy,the Northeast Army withdrew from Shenyang and Jinzhou to the inside Shanhaiguan Pass successively.Hereupon the northeast people resolutely undertook the obliga-tion of resisting Japanese invaders and protecting homes and defending country.In the landscape of north-east China,tens of armies of volunteers rose in revolt.Among them,the First Army in the Northeastern China Anti-Japanese Aggression Volunteer Army,which was under the command of Wang Xianting, fought with fiendish invaders desperately and made repeated battle achievements.In many document,his-torical materials and memoirs,there are a lot of different view s about Wang Xianting's duty.Due to the significant position of the First Army in the war,there is great necessity to make a systematic analysis on these existing materials,and to let world know the real history.This thesis put forward that the First Ar-my was founded on the decision of Liaoning Provincial government and the first commander is Feng Yacao with Wang Xianting as his deputy commander.Later Feng escaped and Wang Xianting became the Com-wander of the First Army.
