The working principle of a kind of atmospheric pressure low temperature plasma power supply used for the surface processing of fabric and its control circuit are presented. The stable, uniform, soft and low temperature plasma should be produced according to the fabric surface treatment process. Using IGBT as the switching element, the high voltage power supply conducts DC chopping and full bridge inverting to realize its high efficiency and miniaturization. The peripheral circuit comprised of computer control units realizes the automatic adjustment and power failure protection for the power supply. By tests and experiments, it is verified that the various performance of the power supply reaches to the anticipated design index and can meet the needs of the fabric surface treatment process.
