Ultrasonic distance measurement is a kind of effective method of non-contact distance meas-urement.The principle of ultrasonic distance measurement was studied based on ultrasonic distance measure-ment.A ultrasonic positioning system was designed based on LabVIEW.The overall structure of the software was designed.The program of serial port was developed in the software control flow.It can be achieved for the mobile robot positioning measurement, the system is low in complexity and high in positioning accuracy.
