Cone-beam CT(cone-beam computed tomography, CBCT) applied to the oral part of three-dimensional imag-ing, is the focus of attention in recent years and used in dental implantology frequently. Mandibular posterior region is an important part of implanting, but also a risk place about anatomic variation of the mandible. The classification of bi-fid mandibular canal, the use of new progress CBCT study, the clinical significance of their presence, summarized were in this passage.
