nd le-sion characteristics of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and indexes of cardiac function. Methods The T3 level and cardiac function in 217 patients with ACS and ESS and non-ESS patients were retrospectively analyzed. The correlation between T3 level and ACS lesion characteristics and cardiac function indexes was identified. Results The TT3 and FT3 values of ACS patients in STEMI group with ESS were significantly lower than those in non-ESS group (P<0.05), whereas the TT3 and FT3 values in NSTEMI group and UA group with ESS were lower than those in non-ESS group, and there were no statistically significant diff 固醇(HDL-C)呈正相关(P<0.01).③网膜素-1是CAS的独立保护因素,HOMA-IR是CAS的独立危险因素.结论 血清网膜素-1水平随着糖尿病病情发展逐渐降低,可能参与了T2DM患者CAS的发生.

Objective To investigate the correlation between serum omentin-1 and carotid atherosclerosis (CAS) in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM). Methods Thirty cases of newly diagnosed T2DM without CAS and 30 of T2DM with CAS were included in the experimental group. Thirty cases with normal glucose tolerance (NGT) were included in the control group. Enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay (ELISA) was used to determine serum omentin-1 level. Also, the fasting blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, fasting insulin, and blood lipids were deter-mined. CAS was determined by color Doppler ultrasound. Results ①The serum omentin-1 level in T2DM with CAS group and newly diagnosed T2DM without CAS group was significantly lower than that in NGT group [(45 ±12) vs (73± 12) vs (86 ±27) ng/L (P<0.05 or P<0.01)]. However, the serum omentin-1 level was significantly decreased in CAS group compared with that in non-CAS group (P<0.01). ②The serum omentin-1 level was negatively correlated with BMI, FPG, HbA1c, FINS, HOMA-IR, TG and LDL-C (P<0.05 or P<0.01), and positively correlated with HDL-C (P<0.01). ③Omentin-1 was the independent protective factor of CAS, and HOMA-IR was the independent risk factor of CAS. Conclusion Serum omentin-1 level gradually decreases with the progression of diabetes, which may be in-volved in the occurrence of CAS in T2DM patients.
