In the 1920s ,a large number of university teachers who had ever studied in the USA worked hard and occupied the important position of higher education . They introduced advanced American school ideas , innovated universities'appearance of the Republic of China , proposed democracy concept , explored the scientific management of university system ,disseminated scientific spirit ,promoted scientific research methods ,built and developed modern discipline ,and became a pioneer who had led the higher education of the republic of China to modernization .With the reference to the history ,we try to show the way of China's higher education to modernization . To read back the history , we try to improve the willpower to adhere to university spirit .
