从广义上讲 ,眼之所见、耳之所听、鼻之所闻、舌之所触、身之所感 ,皆为阅读.从狭义上讲 ,阅读是读者与作者之间以语言文字符号为媒介进行的思想交流 ,是一种有明确目的的、态度积极的、并受到跨文化交际能力影响的心理认知过程 ,而且只有在语篇层面上进行批判性的阅读才是真正意义上的阅读.本文基于当今盛行的 "四个转变" 的教育理念 ,以华中师范大学和武汉理工大学同时开设的通识教育课程 "英语创意阅读" 为例 ,剖析阅读与欣赏的本质和核心 ,提出 "基于小组合作的问题导入式英语多维阅读教育教学模式" ,并分析其特色、拟解决的主要问题及具体实施方案和步骤.

In its broad sense ,reading includes all these aspects:we see with our eyes ,hear with our ears ,smell with our nose ,touch with our tongue ,and feel with our body .And in its narrow sense ,reading refers to the communication between authors and readers with the help of written language .It is an active psychological cognitive process with purpose ,which is also influenced by the competence of intercultural communication .And only the critical reading at the textual level is reading in its genuine sense .This paper ,based on the prevailing educational concept of"Four Changes" , taking as an example Creative English Reading ,the liberal education course at Central China Normal University and Wuhan University of Technology , analyzes the essence and core of reading and appreciation , advances "the PBL-BTC multidimensional model of teaching English reading" .Then it makes an analysis of its typical features ,main problems , and practical schemes and procedures .
