休闲美学着重研究休闲审美作为自由的人本体验的形式、特点和规律. 相对于传统美学,休闲美学在领域上超越艺术,在感官上超越视听,在功能上超越欣赏. 概言之,休闲美学的哲学基础是人本的自由,观照对象是自由而本真的生命形态,涉身机制是自由的全身心体验与践履,社会功能是"成人的过程",应用价值是体验经济. 这是作者目前对休闲美学理论品格的总体考虑和把握.

Leisure aesthetics stresses on the human experiential form, feature and rule as a free entity. Compared with traditional aesthetics, leisure aesthetics exceeds art in domain, visual and audio in sense, and appreciation in function. In other words, its philosophical foundation is humanistic freedom, with a free and real form as its witnessing object, with a free and wholly-ab-sorbed experience and practice as an embodied mechanism, "adult process" as a social function, and experiential economy as the applied value, which is regarded in this paper as the ultimate meaning of the theoretical character of leisure aesthetics.
