A novel organic nonlinear material 4-dimethylamino-N-methyl-4-stilbazolium tosylate which was designed to have a donor/π-conjugated/acceptor structure was synthesized via an effective method.By this method,we have raised yields of every step.Red product with metal luster surface is obtained after repeated purification.The purification process was effective and less-product-lost.Nuclear magnetic resonance study and FTIR were performed to identify the molecular.
