As a promising direction in the field of software engineering,Software Reuse has gotten plenty of attentions.So much Component-Reuse Models have been proposed that it is necessary to have a common component infrastructure to guarantee the interoperability among these models. Being a industry standard in practice,COM proposed by Microsoft has enough features to play as the role. Additionally a new interface-based software reuse strategy is also being discussed.
