中性粒细胞碱性磷酸酶主要分布于中性成熟粒细胞(包括中性杆状核粒细胞和分叶核粒细胞)胞浆内,在特定的pH环境下与某一底物反应,生成不溶性的有色沉淀,定位于细胞质酶活性之处.根据其在细胞内的分布及含量的不同,计算其积分值.通过其阳性率及阳性指数可诊断、鉴别诊断造血系统的疾病,而且可以作为疾病治疗状况的监测及疾病预后、疗效判断的指标.
