The "psychological poverty" of the impoverished students is an urgent problem for the educators in higher vocational colleges. By creating good social atmosphere, offering material and spiritual help, enhancing mental health education, establishing and modifying mental health file of impoverished students and carrying out targeted activities and so on, we hope to help them regain confidence and set up self-esteem, self-confidence and self-reliance.
