Supervision of project construction began in some developed countries abroad as early as in 1950s, and has been in study. Now a more mature mode has been formed. By referring to the construction supervision mode abroad, this article sums up the development trend of China's engineering construction supervision mode, and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions on the development of supervision units under the new trend.
