In view of college students, lack of interest in mathematics study, and poor ability in the application of mathematical knowledge to solve practical problem, a "3W" teaching mode is constructed, whose main line is "what", "why" and "how". Finally, it gives some examples to illustrate the teaching mode in college mathematics teaching.
