Under the background of economic globalization, the new trade accounting methods provides a new angle of view for people to re-examine the pattern of international trade; it is significant to identify the status of China in the international division of labor. This paper introduces the new trade accounting methods and analyzes its influence on China's foreign trade, points out that China should be more actively participate in the competition of global value chain, and realize the transition from a trade country to trading powers.
