肺部结核病病人伴发精神障碍不配合治疗，反复停药、间断治疗时，会产生耐药，形成难治性结核病，给结核病的治疗和控制带来困难，病人的用药量增加，疗程延长，药物负反应产生的概率增加，病人也将遭受更多的痛苦，还会造成治疗失败，结核病无法治好。为此，对这类病人我们适量辅以抗精神类药物，改善病人的焦虑和抑郁情绪，让病人配合医师的治疗，完成治疗疗程，达到控制和治愈结核病的目的。
