呼吸机相关性肺炎是患者于机械通气治疗中出现的一种严重而又常见的并发症，因其具有致死性强、发病率高等特点而备受广大医务人员的关注。减少和预防呼吸机相关性肺炎的发生，必然成为外科重症病房及整个医院的重要任务。本文探讨分析了呼吸机相关性肺炎出现的原因，提出了一些预防措施，希望对呼吸机相关性肺炎起到积极的预防作用。

Ventilator-associated pneumonia in patients treated with mechanical ventilation, is a serious and common complication. It has much concern of the majority of medical staff because of characteristics of strong lethal and high incidence. To reduce and prevent the occurrence of ventilator-associated pneumonia, is bound to become the important task of the surgical intensive care and hospital . This article explores the reasons for ventilator associated pneumonia, some preventive measures, and hope to play an active role in prevention of ventilator-associated pneumonia.
