妊娠糖尿病是指妊娠期发生或首次发现的任何程度的糖尿病或糖耐量异常，其发生率在我国为4.3%，且随着人们生活水平的提高，其发生率逐年上升，其病因和发病机制可能与GDM相关的基因缺陷、妊娠期人体分泌发生变化，胎盘产生抗胰岛的激素且随孕周的增加到妊娠晚期出现胰岛素抵抗有关。GDM是一种高危妊娠，易导致多种母婴并发症，因此，积极有效的护理干预是保障母婴安全的重要措施。
