近年来，西吉县以小流域为单元，山水田林草路统一规划，综合治理，以兴建骨干工程为龙头，以坝系建设为主体，实现了治沟骨干工程出精品，流域治理出典型，治理区域出效益的目标，最大程度地发挥了生态、社会、经济效益，推动了全县农村经济的发展。截止2013年底，全县共建成水保治沟骨干工程105座，中小型淤地坝88座，控制流域面积702.76平方公里，总库容11780.29万立方米。
근년래，서길현이소류역위단원，산수전림초로통일규화，종합치리，이흥건골간공정위룡두，이패계건설위주체，실현료치구골간공정출정품，류역치리출전형，치리구역출효익적목표，최대정도지발휘료생태、사회、경제효익，추동료전현농촌경제적발전。절지2013년저，전현공건성수보치구골간공정105좌，중소형어지패88좌，공제류역면적702.76평방공리，총고용11780.29만립방미。
