In the teaching of design color in higher vocational colleges, the teacher should maximize their service for the specialty and pay attention to training students' combination of creative thinking and shape, color, object and image, thus constantly improving the students' professional ability and professional quality. This article aims to explore a teaching mode with scientificity, expansibility and perspectiveness which is suitable for modern higher vocational building specialty.
