经纬仪中线法标定腰线，是其他标定方法的基础。此方法标定工作简单，但由于拉线时不易准确掌握垂直巷道方向，半圆仪拉平时的精度不高，误差往往比较大，所以倾角大于8o的主要巷道或精度要求较高的一般倾斜巷道，用全站仪标设中线的同时，用伪倾角在巷道帮上准确标设腰线，可提高精度。
