城市道路的修建是城市发展的重要项目，也是弘扬城市精神文明的重要方式。交叉口的利用始终没有实现最大化。传统的城市平面交叉口存在着很多的不足，随着城市经济文化的不断发展，人们逐渐提出了优化道路交叉口的意见，并设计了新型连续流交叉口。
