A nevel airborne wideband sleeve antenna was designed with a new impedance compensation technology. The simulation and measured results prove that the impedance compensation technology will not bring a obvious influence on sleeve an-tenna pattern. Compared with common airborne ultrashort wave antenna,the new UHF sleeve antenna has more compact structure, better aerodynamic property,larger power capacity and more perfect DC grounding. The antenna is suitable for high-speed aircrafts.
