The effect of rotor occlusion in helicopter SATCOM on signal is elaborated. The proportion of time without occlu-sion with different course and antenna elevation angle is analyzed. Several solution of overcoming the problems of occlusion is presented aiming at different characteristic of forward and backward link of helicopter SATCOM with wideband and narrow band.
