Construction activity is one of production activities consuming large energies, at the same time satisfies the devel-opment and strategies promoting the sustainable development, pays at ention to the protection of resources and environment. The sustainable development of construction industry is impor-tant to try to promote green construction. This paper discusses the significance of implementing green construction for realiz-ing the sustainable development of building industry, expounds the principles of green construction, and expects to be helpful for the related researches.
