Solar energy as a new energy has the advantages of clean and rich deposits, which get more and more people’s at ention. Wuhan is the place with the hot summer and cold winter and the buildings has large energy consumption. This article describes the energy issue of Wuhan, and application situation and development trend of solar energy development at home and abroad, and analyzes the necessity of Wuhan co-mmercial col ege set new solar energy laboratory.
