Visual symbol is the most important element used in architectural design, and visual symbol not only has the gui-ding and leading role to architectural design, improves buildi-ng performance and aesthetic capacity even more. In the devel-opment of construction industry, visual symbol becomes the indispensable part, this paper based on the research of the arc-hitectural design, discusses the use of visual symbols in it.
