In this article, the author bases on many years of work experience and discusses the understanding of the water landscape from four aspects of the water landscape form and characteristic, the water scale and proportion, the plane limit and sight of water and several means of landscape water fea-tures, hope to be helpful for the garden waterscape design wo-rk.
