Coal mine underground geological conditions and groundwater is complex and changeable, in the work often en-counter a variety of water damage. We summarize previous co-l apse column water disaster in coal mine experiences, to de-velop a reasonable, economic, practical control scheme. This paper mainly expounds the research on characteristics and pre-vention technology of col apse column flood in coal mine.
