The construction of city pipe network is the basic facilities of the city, is the main guarantee of the city residents’ basic necessities of life, improving the city distribution netwo-rk planning and management mechanism has become the prob-lem which must be solved. Based on the analysis of the chara-cteristics of city pipe network, this paper studies on the existin-g issues of city pipe network planning and management, explo-res the effective measures to solve the problem.
