Energy-saving building industry and energy utiliz-ation is one of national important policies. By comparing the heat preservation characteristics and the actual effect of wal insulation and exterior insulation material, the author found the superior performance of exterior wal thermal insulation. This article briefly describes the technology of exterior wal heat pr-eservation and the types and applications of using the energ-y-saving materials.
