This paper through the study of population and bu-ilding characteristics assesses its impact on the domestic univ-erseity dormitory fire. Through the study of the existing dom-estic and foreign existing data, combined with population and characteristics of domestic col eges and universities, and takin-g Jennings fires burning and loss model as a theoretical basis, it puts forward some prevention elements of col ege dormito-ry fire.
