Under the large environment of advocating sustai-nable development and ecological environment in the whole society, the urban planning and construction of smal towns must move to the direction of ecotype. This article elaborates the connotation and requirements of the ecological planning c-onstruction in the smal town, and discusses the thinking of bu-ilding the ecological small towns.
