Taking the knob component parts as an example, this paper introduces common types of assemblies in senior workers training in processing center, analyses the special NC machining process of assemblies. The reasonable selection of processing benchmarks, processing sequence and processing methods, Mastercam X6 way for modeling, processing methods and processing parameters are discussed, finally, the tool path in NC machining are generated and simulated.
