The comprehensive transport hub developed from the high-speed passenger station has dual functions of the traffic node and the urban node. It has a radiation effect on the planning of the station area and has great influence and promotion on the transformation and upgrading of the surrounding industries. Based on the analysis on the current development situation of the area of Beijing South Station, the article makes a discussion on the correlation of the comprehensive transport hub with the planning of the station areas and the urban space development, then puts forward some corresponding suggestions.
