妺喜，又称末喜、末嬉，是夏王朝最后一代王夏桀的王妃，这点无可争议。对于其让夏朝灭亡的原因，多记载为“因宠亡夏”，后也有“失宠亡夏”之说，究竟是何种说法一直争无定论。本文从史籍中剥离出有关妺喜事迹的记载，整理出妺喜这一形象经历的发展变迁，从中考究妺喜“祸过”的真实原因。
