As a kind of new EDM materials, graphite with many advantages is increasingly favored by mold processing industry. This paper introduces the characteristics of graphite electrode materials, performance comparison of graphite electrode and the copper electrode, graphite electrode application state of CNC processing technology and graphite electrode in die casting die, points out that the graphite electrode has very broad prospects in die manufacturing, and deserves our special attention.
