The paper analyzes the existing defects of oilfield safety education and training and discusses on the approaches to enhance the all-people safety awareness, management quality and operation skills. To establish a set of safety education and training mechanism that meet the oilfield staffs' psychological needs on safety and complies with actual production, to provide flexible and diverse education and training approaches and to make the safety education and training serve the production management, is not only an urgent task of safety work but also the key to get rid of the safety problem root.
