慢性腰肌劳损一般病程较长，缠绵难愈，腰部多隐痛或酸痛。本病常因体位不当，劳累过度，天气变化等因素而加重，严重影响着人们的生活质量。中医药对本病有显著的疗效，笔者将从中医药对本病的病因病机、辨证论治、各种治疗方法的应用与临床疗效等方面的研究着手加以整理综述。认为其病因病机为肝脾肾三脏亏虚夹杂风寒湿等外邪侵犯，本虚标实，不通则痛，不荣则痛。并对其外治法进行重点强调，包括针灸、推拿、外用药物等，或结合包括内治法在内的其他疗法进行综合治疗。中医药治疗本病有着简、效、易、廉的基本优势，并且其显著的疗效已被广大患者所接受，在未来的发展趋势上也有较好的前景。

The course of chronic lumbar muscle strain is longer,and difficult to cure.Most of the patients have lumbar pain or soreness.The disease often aggravate due to improper position,overwork,climate change and other factors.The disease seriously affects the people's living standard.Because of the development of traditional Chinese medicine itself and its remarkable curative effect in recent years,the author will make a overview,including traditional Chinese medicine on etiology and pathogenesis, treatment based on syndrome differentiation,various therapeutic methods and clinical efficacy and so on.We believe that its etiology and pathogenesis are the deficiency of Liver,spleen and kidney combined with the violation of wind,cold,dampness and other violations,deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality,pain caused by stagnation of blood,pain caused by deficiency of body fluids.External treatment are emphasized,including acupuncture,massage,medicine for external use or other therapy combined with internal treatment.Chinese medicine treatment for this disease has a fundamental advantage,such as simple, efficient,easy,cheap and so on,and the remarkable effect has been accepted by the majority of patients,and it has good prospects in the future development trend.
