经济全球化使世界各国在多个领域加强了交流和竞争。文化软实力的竞争成为国家间竞争的重要组成部分。作为文化的载体，语言成为传播中国文化和提高中国文化软实力的必要手段。发展英语语言教学显得尤为紧要。本文探讨指出在英语教学中教育政策，文化平衡，教学双方等方面存在的问题，为今后更好地培养大量高素质外语人才，提升文化软实力带来启示。

economic globalization strengthens the international communication and competition. The competition of cultural soft power becomes an important part of the competition between countries. As the carrier of culture, language is the essential means to spread Chinese culture and to enhance Chinese cultural soft power. The development of English teaching is particularly important. This paper investigates the problems in the education policy, cultural balance, the teacher and student in English teaching process, and brings inspiration on better training a large number of highly qualified foreign language talents, and promoting cultural soft power.
