With the rapid development of social economy, ur-ban traf ic brings more and more high requirement of muni-cipal road use performance. Therefore, road maintenance is a key link in the process of protection of the road normal use. In recent years, the road’s preventive maintenance has become a key road maintenance work. The importance of preventive maintenance is mainly introduced in this paper, and it puts forward the common technical measures of pavement main-tenance. The paper offers a reference to reader.
