武威文庙为全国重点文物保护单位，是目前甘肃省规模最大、保存最完整的文庙建筑。本文以武威文庙为研究对象，以儒家文化为背景，研究武威文庙在武威古城中的选址及武威文庙的总体空间布局与功能结构，并对其进行了初步地探讨。

Wu Wei Confucian temple as the national key cul-tural relic’s protection unit, which is the largest and best-pres-erved of Confucian temple architecture in Gansu province. Th-is article takes the Wu Wei Confucian temple as the research object and takes the Confucian culture as the background to explore the site selection and the overal space layout and fun-ctional structure of Wu Wei Confucian temple in Wuwei old city, and carries on the preliminary discussion.
