The ecological environment of Three Gorges Reservoir area is fragile, and its sensitive ecological problems have become increasingly prominent. According to the ecological footprint calculation model, and based on the calculation of ecological footprint and land ecological capacity of Zhongxian in 2007, this paper calculates the ecological footprint and ecological capacity of Zhongxian from 2007 to 2010, and evaluates the land bearing capacity and social and economic development sustainability in Zhongxian.
