The social value is the psychological satisfaction that customers obtain in the process of the consuming the product's social attribute, which has a major influence on consumer decision-making. This paper introduces the social value into the utility function, and constructs the Cournot duopoly model. While the results show that social value has a positive impact on corporate profits.
