This article summarizes the deficiency of the traditional cost management mode through analyzing the status quo of domestic engineering project cost management. Com-bining with the principle and function of BIM, this article detailed expounds the application of BIM technology in pr-oject cost of decision, design, bids, construction, completion accounting and other stages in construction engineering pr-oject.
