This article bases on the geological characteristics of the karst region and takes a housing project in Yunfu city of Guangdong province as an example to discuss the problem of pile foundation design in karst region to which should pay at ention, and put forward the solutions of the common single pile bearing capacity, the minimum pile length and other co-mmon problems in the design, which provides reference si-gnificance for similar projects.
